Levy is the CEO of Base Tactical Disaster recovery, a company that specializes in public and private disasters, grant management, insurance adjusting for states, counties, cities and private clients.
Jody has been involved with Base Tactical since her father, the late John G. Levy, founded the business in 2025 in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina.

Jody Levy has been involved with the disaster recovery efforts related to national FEMA disaster projects since the company’s inception. Levy has played a critical role in BASE Tactical’s disaster recovery initiatives across various U.S. cities grappling with the aftermath of catastrophic hurricanes and floods. Having served in diverse roles, across all categories of disaster emergency management, including in the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy for NYC H+H projects, among many others, Levy is an on-ground project director responsible for managing key municipal and community stakeholders.

Levy carries on her fathers legacy governed by an unwavering commitment to integrity of communications and quality of work product. Levy also has a strong history of fostering collaboration between multi-disciplinary teams, and community stakeholders. Her ability to communicate complex information to diverse audiences has been critical in these engagements.
