JOHN G. LEVY Children’s Hospital Of Michigan Interactive Lobby
In honor of her incredible father, John G. Levy, a group made up of family, close friends, and professional allies came together to create The John G. Levy Lobby at the Children’s Hospital of Michigan and a dedicated endowment toward The Child Life Services Annual Program – a program that John was passionate about supporting year over year.
The lobby experience is an interactive installation that allows kids to press a big activation button and trigger bright colored balls to animate within a wall-sized frame. The project brings together the most important parts of John G. Levy’s legacy: the healing joy of art, music, movies, and interactive play together with the hospital where he lovingly served on the board of directors for many decades.
This project has transformed the Children’s Hospital of Michigan Lobby into a center of inspiration, joy and curiosity and continues to support some of the most essential programs that keep the kids happy and on the path to healing.
This project was made possible by Andrew Stein, Director of The Children’s Foundation, the Board of Directors at Children’s Hospital Of Michigan, Mayor Mike Duggan and many others who so generously contributed and continue to contribute ongoing to the lobby experience and the John G Levy endowment for Child Life Services.
The John G. Levy Lobby was made possible by the incredible design and technology team at Echo Charlie.
